Storage Post's Georgia facility donates $500 to Angel Flight Soars in Atlanta, a non-profit organization

ATLANTA, Jan. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Storage Post Self Storage, a storage provider on the East Coast, donated $500 to Angel Flight, a non-profit organization that provides free transportation for medical and humanitarian purposes. Storage Post's Doraville storage facility is located near the organization's headquarters, which inspired a donation.

Angel Flight, which assists hundreds of families a year, is entirely funded by corporate and private donations. The organization wants to ensure that no one is denied potentially life-saving care solely due to the costs associated with travel. In addition, Angel Flight actively responds to compelling transportation needs outside of medical care and helps reunite families separated by disaster.

"Angel Flight is a compassionate organization, with an important goal to help families during difficult times. Many Storage Post employees and members of the management team were affected by Hurricane Katrina. Angel Flight's assistance delivering supplies and medical equipment to New Orleans saved lives," said Storage Post Chief Operations Officer Jack Chaney. "We want to give back to Angel Flight so they can continue to assist those in need in Atlanta and beyond."

Storage Post's Doraville location is located just a few miles from the Dekalb-Peachtree Airport, where Angel Flight coordinates charitable missions using private aircraft. Storage Post has a history of charitable giving and supports a variety of volunteer programs and non-profit organizations in the cities it serves.
