Stradling Litigator Marc Schneider Receives Prestigious Daniel R. Ginsberg Leadership Award

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., April 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Stradling is pleased to announce that Marc Schneider, Shareholder in the firm's Newport Beach office, is being honored by the Anti-Defamation League ("ADL") with the 2014 Daniel R. Ginsberg Leadership Award at its National Commission Meeting. This honor is given in recognition of leadership in the fight against anti-Semitism, racism and all forms of prejudice.

Marc Schneider is a business and securities litigation shareholder with Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth.  He represents many of Orange County, California's best known public and private companies, private equity, and venture capital firms in their most important matters.  He also serves as Stradling's General Counsel, as well as on the Board of Directors and Claims Committee of Attorneys Insurance Mutual Risk Retention Group, a law firm malpractice insurer.  He was named one of the Top 20 attorneys under 40 in California in 2009 by the Daily Journal, California's leading legal newspaper. 

When not spending time with his beautiful wife Elena and two adorable daughters Sabina and Mila, Marc assists a number of non-profit organizations.  Working closely with Dean Erwin Chemerinsky, he is a Founding Board Member of the University of California, Irvine, Center for Corporate Legal Leadership.  The Center for Corporate Legal Leadership will train in-house counsel to be better corporate leaders, resulting in an LLM degree.  He also is a Founding Board Member of the OC Technology Alliance and serves as the Chair of its Legal Roundtable.  He serves on the Board of Trustees of Temple Bat Yahm, the Board of Directors of the Orange County Jewish Bar Association, and on the Executive Committee for the Sonenshine Pro Bono Reception, which introduces new Orange County attorneys to the numerous non-profit organizations that can use their pro bono services.  After graduating from the Steinberg Leadership Program and Chairing the Government Affairs Committee, Marc served as the Regional Board Chair for the ADL's Orange County and Long Beach Region from 2009 through 2013 and participates in its Leadership 2020 Program.
