Strategic Investment Group Announces Compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®)
ARLINGTON, Va., March 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Strategic Investment Group ("Strategic"), an Arlington-based Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) firm, who serves as a fiduciary partner for 31 clients, announced today that it claims compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®) and has been independently verified for the period of January 1, 2007 through December 31, 2016.
Introduced in 1999, the GIPS standards are a rigorous set of investment performance measurement principles, which have been adopted in 39 countries and recognized around the world for lending credibility, integrity, and uniformity to performance reporting by enabling direct comparability of a firm's track record. The standards also improve transparency by eliminating survivorship biases, misrepresentations, and historical data omissions.
