Stronger Economy 'Bounces' Revenues of International Home Improvement Network

SEYMOUR, Conn., Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The 15th Annual Basement Systems Dealer Convention themed "Bounce" correlates to the rebound that sales have taken in the past fiscal year for the company.  Revenues have bounced back, and beyond, of those from the contracting revenues of the 2008-2009 fiscal year.

Elizabeth "Liz" Murray, the subject of the television film "Homeless to Harvard: the Liz Murray Story" will be the guest speaker at the opening ceremony held at the Bushnell Theater in Hartford, Connecticut.  Murray's inspirational message will coincide with the convention's "Bounce" theme, where the Basement Systems dealer networks will be inspired to look for growth opportunities and market expansion.  As part of this growth opportunity, and Liz Murray's message that revolves around charitable giving, Basement Systems dealers will learn about new opportunities of sponsoring cause-related events, and partaking in the charity-based Referral Fox program, where donations are made to charitable organizations such as the Red Cross, the American Cancer Society, the Boys and Girls Club, and the United Way.

Basement Systems dealer networks are comprised of independent contractors from the Basement Systems network, the CleanSpace network, the Total Basement Finishing System network, the Foundation Supportworks network, and the Dr. Energy Saver franchise.

More than 100 dealers worldwide are scheduled to join together, including upwards of 600 contractors that specialize in basement waterproofing, crawl space repair, foundation repair, basement finishing, and home energy efficiency.  Dealers will be arriving from the United States, Canada, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.

Included in the convention locations is the newly renovated Dr. Energy Saver building.  Franchisees look forward to visiting the full-sized house that has been constructed inside of the main training area.  Built to local building codes, this structure was designed to demonstrate the many ways that homeowners can save energy through a variety of energy saving upgrades and repairs.
