Strottman appoints Amy Henry Senior Vice President of Strategic Insights
IRVINE, Calif., April 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Strottman International is pleased to announce that it has appointed Amy Henry as Senior Vice President of Strategic Insights. The announcement was made today by Ron Coughlin, President, to whom she will report.
In this role, Henry, an 18-year consumer insights and strategy veteran, will head up the Insights department leading agency efforts to deeply understand Millennial Families and to continue Strottman's tradition of delivering inspired, authentic insights into kids and families' lives. She will also play a leadership role in the agency's new business efforts, helping Strottman craft a strategic path for future growth.

Henry previously held the position of Vice President, Youth Insights at C+R Research, where she served as the chief author and strategist for their YouthBeat studies and consulting services. In her five years at the company, she helped build YouthBeat into a thriving research and consulting business with a reputation for turning information on youth and families into actionable insights that helped drive growth for the brands with whom she partnered. While there, she launched YouthBeat Jr., and most recently, the YouthBeat Character Tracker.
Prior to C+R Research, Henry was the head of research at The Family Room in Norwalk, CT., and a partner and head of the kids practice at Insight Strategy Group. She also held positions at The Geppetto Group and Leo Burnett. Over the course of her career, she has worked with a wide variety of best-in-class kid and youth-focused organizations including Nickelodeon, MTV, Scholastic, PBS Kids Sprout, Crayola, National Geographic, Boy Scouts of America, P&G, Frito Lay, Coca-Cola, Kellogg, Kraft and many others.
Henry holds degrees from Dartmouth College and the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is a candidate for a Ph.D. in Childhood Studies from Rutgers University.
