Rounds Out Comprehensive VersiTomic ACL/PCL Portfolio

SAN DIEGO, July 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Stryker Joint Preservation, a business unit of Stryker's Orthopaedics group, today announced at the 2011 American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine its new G-Lok implant has joined its comprehensive VersiTomic portfolio for ACL/PCL reconstruction.

Built upon the same versatile, anatomic, and reliable advanced technology as products currently in the VersiTomic portfolio, the VersiTomic G-Lok is designed to provide suspension fixation of soft tissue to bone during orthopaedic reconstruction procedures.  

The G-Lok's unique rod design creates a spring-like action which allows the G-Lok to automatically deploy on the cortical surface. G-Lok's loop material is made from the latest technology in high performance medical-grade fiber from Dyneema Purity, available in multiple loop sizes, and is designed to increase creep resistance and enhance strength(1). In addition, G-Lok XL is available to provide an additional 5mm in length and 1mm in width to the G-Lok.
