PHOENIX, March 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- GradGuard, an authority at designing and implementing student benefit programs that help schools to attract and retain students, is pleased to announce that Wimer Alberto, Assistant Director of Guest and Conference Housing at Arizona State University has been appointed as its new Director of Campus Partnerships, effective Monday, March 6th, 2017.
In this role, Wimer will maintain and develop relationships with a portfolio of 80-100 institutions of higher education. In addition, he will assist with software implementations, work in concert with GradGuard's national customer service team and represent GradGuard's suite of student benefits programs within the higher education community.

Wimer currently directs all aspects of both the guest housing operation and conference housing operation at the largest institution of higher education in the United States. Prior to his tenure as Assistant Director at Arizona State University, Wimer worked in various functional areas in student affairs; including positions in residential education, occupancy management, operations, and facilities management.
Wimer is currently a Master of Legal Students candidate at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. He earned a Master of Science degree in Student Affairs Administration and Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Binghamton University. Wimer is also a recognized association leader, having served in multiple leadership in positions in ACPA, ASCA, NEACUHO and ACUHO-I. He currently serves as the Chair-Elect for the ACUHO-I Professionals of Color Network.
