Student Housing Veteran Joins Campus Advantage

AUSTIN, Texas, June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Campus Advantage, the nation's largest private student housing company, today announced that apartment housing veteran Carol Peddy has joined the Company as a vice president of operations.

Peddy will over see numerous communities across the United States and will be based in Dallas.

"For more than two decades, Carol has been a recognized leader in the apartment and student housing industry," said Mike Peter , president and CEO of Campus Advantage.  "We are very fortunate to have her join the Campus Advantage team.

"When Carol was at JPI, Inc., she grew the third-party student living management business by an impressive 70% and garnered many industry awards for her leadership and results," said Peter.

Prior to joining Campus Advantage, Peddy was with Riverstone Residential, overseeing property operations and marketing.  Previously, she held increasingly senior management positions with JPI, becoming the senior vice president and national marketing director.  Other leadership roles include Property Company of America, Jacques-Miller, and Tracy Management Company, Inc.

Peddy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Okla.
