Subaru Canada: October Record Marks Highest Monthly Sales Ever

October sales set new milestone in Subaru's 35-year history.

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Nov. 1, 2012 /CNW/ - Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) celebrated a new milestone in company history today as it announced October results of 3,035 units, a new all-time monthly record. This 31.2 percent increase in October sales also puts the brand in an excellent position to make year-end history for 2012: With 25,462 units sold to date, year-to-date sales are up 13.3 percent over the same period last year. This sixth consecutive month of record-breaking results also mean that Subaru Canada is on track to make 2012 its best year yet.

The Subaru Impreza led the sales charge, toppling October records as sales rose by a whopping 591.4 percent versus the same month last year. Year to date, sales of the fun-to-drive compact car are up 76.2 percent. Subaru's Outback sales also rose by 18.2 percent over last October. The brand new 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek also set a blistering sales pace in its third full month of sales with 529 units sold this past October.
