SummerJasmines: folding glittery sandals transition today's busy woman from day to night, and from pedicure salon to picking up the children at school

RIVERSIDE, Calif., July 6 /PRNewswire/ -- After selling out the promotional line, Alissa Kraisosky, owner and designer of SummerJasmines sandals, has launched the brand-new retail line. "They are even more comfortable than the promotional line. The toe separators are softer and the backs of the sandals are a bit more supportive. The shoes are now easier to slide one's toes through and fold up," she stated. The overall design of the shoe and colors have remained similar to the promotional line. "I have tried to integrate all the feedback I received into these new shoes and, like anything, it is always a work in progress."

The idea was born over two years ago when Kraisosky was limping back to her Las Vegas hotel room in high heels. "My feet were killing me, and I wished there was a shoe that could just be pulled out of an evening bag and worn immediately." She handcrafted the prototypes herself using her medical background, studying the anatomy of the foot and articulation of foot and shoe in detail. She was delighted when the shoes developed sufficient interest to create a promotional line. "It was so exciting to see people enjoy something I created simply because my feet were hurting, and because I didn't like hobbling from the pedicure salon to my car in those flimsy disposable pedicure shoes," Kraisosky added.

The sandals are currently sold online and in select spas. In addition, seven additional styles, including a bridal and bridesmaid design, will premiere at the FN Platform Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada; August 17, 18 and 19.
