Summit Business Media Hires Josh Brous as Vice President of Branded Events

NEW YORK, Feb. 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Summit Business Media today announced that it has hired Josh Brous as Vice President of Branded Events.  Brous, previously VP Global Events at the Mobile Marketing Association, will manage financial, insurance and professional services conferences and programs. Prior to the MMA, he was Director of Program Development at Summit Business Media and is intimately familiar with the company's portfolio of event assets. Reporting to SVP and Managing Director of Events Jonathan D. Moore, the new position will give Summit the ability to apply significantly more bandwidth to both its branded and mining events, aligning closely with the company's overall business strategy.

Brous originally joined Summit in 2008 to run all non-mining conference program content.  Prior to Summit, he was Senior Director of Conferences at the Interactive Advertising Bureau and before that was at SourceMedia (formerly Thomson Media) as Program Development Manager.
