Sungard Availability Services Achieves Amazon Web Services Storage Competency Status

WAYNE, Pa., Nov. 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Sungard Availability Services (Sungard AS) has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Storage Competency Partner status, demonstrating success in helping customers manage the recovery and backup of their cloud environments by leveraging Sungard AS' 40 years of experience as a leader in Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS). 

The AWS Storage Competency recognizes AWS Partner Network (APN) Consulting and Technology Partners who have demonstrated technical proficiency and proven customer success for the respective use-cases. This includes backup and recovery operations to, from and within AWS; primary storage using IP file or block protocols and object storage; active and passive data archiving services to appropriate storage tiers; and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (BCDR) solutions.
