SunTrust to Donate a Dollar to Operation HOPE for Every New "onUp" Participant

Commitment of up to $250,000 by SunTrust Banks, Inc. will help support financial empowerment programs and services for youth and adults in communities throughout the nation

ATLANTA, Feb. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Financial dignity nonprofit Operation HOPE announced today a pledge from SunTrust Banks, Inc. (NYSE: STI) to donate up to $250,000 to help Americans gain control of their finances through a new free online movement – onUp.  For each person that joins through, $1 will be donated to support HOPE's mission of economic empowerment.
