(OTCBB:SWHN), a leader in the development and application of solar-powered energy solutions, today announced the signing of its first sales contract and distribution agreement in Malaysia for its Krystall water purification units.

Access to pure drinking water is a serious problem in parts of Malaysia. Despite abundant rainfall, water pollution has increased significantly because of the massive industrial development of recent years, as well as growing urbanization.

"Krystall units are particularly well-suited to producing drinkable water in countries like Malaysia, where water-related health diseases are significant", said SwissINSO VP Paul de Belay. "These solar-powered units do not require any additional source of energy, therefore providing a solution that was previously unavailable", he added.

The two standard containers that comprise the reverse-osmosis purification system are easily transportable to the small towns and rural areas that need them most. Daily production capability of 100,000 liters is considerable, and sufficient to supply their needs.

This agreement represents an important first step for SwissINSO's expansion strategy into Southeast Asia. Working in conjunction with a local distributor, the Krystall unit is expected to be fully-functional by end- May/early-June, and will serve as a showcase for neighboring countries.
