Syndiant Introduces First HD .37" Microdisplay Solution

DALLAS, Jan. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Syndiant, a leader in high resolution microdisplays for pico projectors, is expanding its product line with the introduction of a new breakthrough chip set solution that includes the SYL2271 HD display panel and the SYA1231 controller.

The SYL2271 provides 1280 x 720 resolution with a .37" display diagonal and fits into a package that is only 7.75 mm high, enabling it to fit into very thin products, including embedded applications.

Fujitsu, a long-standing Syndiant partner, developed the world's first 130 nm LCOS technology which was essential for the development of the SYL2271 imager. The SYA1231 controller includes an embedded ARM™ processor that can be used to implement custom features to differentiate the product and enhance the user experience.
