SYNERGY Construction Group Expands with Real Estate Development Projects Throughout Chicago

CHICAGO, July 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SYNERGY Construction Group, a multifaceted real estate development, general contracting and construction management firm, is expanding in Chicago with three large-scale projects in a range of neighborhoods and industries.

Oak Street Health
SYNERGY recently purchased a distressed 10,000 SF building in the Cal-Sag Enterprise Zone to develop a new Oak Street Health medical facility. Serving as both the developer and general contractor, Synergy will be investing more than $1.3M to upgrade the building. Located at 3026 Burr Oak Avenue, Blue Island, IL, the facility will bring primary care experience, exclusively for people with Medicare. SYNERGY also recently served as the general contractor for six other Oak Street Health facilities including five in Chicago and one in Berwyn.

Assemble Shared Offices
SYNERGY is the developer and general contractor for Assemble, a distinctive new approach to shared offices set to open August 2014. Located at 1165 Clark Street, SYNERGY and GREC Architects were inspired to design 54 private, creative workspaces for individual members and companies of up to 10 employees. SYNERGY understands how companies can realize the efficiencies of collective shared office resources as it originated at ICNC, an incubator space for light manufacturing located in the West Loop. 

The Chop Shop
Located at 2033 W. North Ave. in Wicker Park, Synergy constructed The Chop Shop's unique restaurant concept in a 100-year-old warehouse. The Chop Shop features a gourmet butcher shop, a full service bar, a restaurant and 6,000 SF of private event space. SYNERGY completed the full design build and general contracting services as well as the permit and zoning approval process.
