Tantus Appraised as a CMMI Maturity Level 3 Organization
WASHINGTON, March 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) has joined the ranks of many prestigious companies by successfully obtaining a Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Maturity Level 3 rating. The SCAMPI Class A appraisal was conducted on Tantus' Program/Project Management and Systems Development disciplines.
SEI CMMI has become a standard of excellence for improving organizational processes in government and industry. This rating assists customers in determining dependable and low-risk suppliers of development and support services. With reliable, well-defined and continuous improvement processes, Tantus reduces costs, lowers risk, and improves product quality and timeliness of delivery for technology solutions for its customers.
"This maturity rating is a significant milestone in Tantus' quest for excellence and commitment to delivering high quality services," says Buck Keswani, President and CEO of Tantus. "Our team has demonstrated a tremendous commitment to process improvement and world class performance."
Despite the sense of accomplishment and excitement around the CMMI Level 3 achievement, Tantus does not consider this appraisal the finish line, but rather another step in its pursuit for excellence. Tantus looks forward to further defining and streamlining key processes to provide clients with high quality services and higher returns on investment.
