Taylor Devices Announces Strong Fourth Quarter And Full Year Results
NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y., Aug. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Taylor Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ SmallCap: TAYD) announced today that it had sales for the 4th quarter of $10,766,451, up sharply from last year's 4th quarter sales of $5,303,755. Sales for the full year were $30,589,266, an all-time record and also up significantly from last year's level of $20,011,228.
Net earnings for the 4th quarter were $886,575, more than double last year's 4th quarter profit of $401,290. Net income for the full fiscal year was $2,174,948, also up substantially from last year's full fiscal year net income of $1,131,212.
"It is reasonable to say that this last year has been a very good year," stated Douglas P. Taylor, President. He continued, "To have added over $10 million in sales while maintaining our firm order backlog at $25.2 million, up slightly from the $24.6 million level reported one year ago, is quite impressive." He concluded, "We anticipate that this next year will be another good year, as well."
