PHOENIX, Aug. 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Taylor Morrison, a leading national homebuilder, today announced its pet-friendly amenities for new homes in celebration of National Dog Day. As the go-to builder for homebuyers looking to keep their four-legged family members happy, healthy and pampered, Taylor Morrison is offering a swath of amenities that are sure to please your fur baby's every desire.
From Dog Bone Park, a sprawling open space for homebuyers' furry friends to run free and explore in Denver, to luxurious built-in pet washing spas that make paw and fur cleanup hassle-free, Taylor Morrison has pets covered. Homebuyers and pets alike will find that Taylor Morrison's pet-friendly amenities make life easier for not only the smallest of residents, but for their owners too.
"We know pets hold a special place in our homebuyers' hearts, and that was the impetus for ensuring we had amenities to help make not only the care of pets easier, but to provide pets with amenities that keep them active and healthy," said Graham Hughes, chief customer officer at Taylor Morrison.
For playdates, dog walking services, on-site grooming and outdoor activities, look no further than Taylor Morrison's forthcoming doggie lifestyle concierges to be located inside the resort-style Esplanade communities in Florida. Additionally, within the Esplanade communities, pets will be able to treat themselves to a custom fresh watering hole to quench their thirst after a brisk walk or game of catch. And, pet health and wellness seminars will be held onsite to ensure residents stay updated on the best pet care practices for their pooches.
The builder's newest community in Chicago, Tallgrass, includes a doggie shower for easy at-home pet pampering in its Kingston model. A similar pet-washing station is available at Heritage at Vizcaya in Austin, where 55-plus homebuyers can keep their pets looking their best after a stroll on the community's hike and bike trails.
In Houston, Taylor Morrison's Bevington model at Meridiana features an optional built-in pet washing station and a miniature dog house that mimics the model home. Across town, the builder's 55-plus community, Bonterra, will soon unveil a new dog park, dubbed the Bark Park, perfect for an afternoon walk.
At Fulshear, Texas' Cross Creek Ranch, where both Taylor Morrison and Darling Homes build, a nearly one-acre dog park called Canine Commons offers separate dog runs for large and small breeds. After a fun afternoon in the sun, Canine Commons offers a wash-down area as well as drinking fountains and picnic areas.
Two of Darling Homes' newest communities in Dallas, Lakeside DFW and Spicewood at Craig Ranch, offer both built-in doggie bathing stations while Spicewood also includes the K-9 Corral Dog Park.
Dog Bone Park is the latest amenity at Terrain in Denver, where Taylor Morrison currently builds. In California, Cottages at St. Cloud is less than a mile from Oceanside's new 465-acre El Corazon Park, where dog owners can stroll, walk and run with their pets.
Lastly, several communities feature wooded areas and walking trails for adventure-seeking pets who like to explore nature. Perfect to take an early morning walk together or spending an afternoon in the sun, these trails are a great way for homebuyers to enjoy some relaxation outside with their pets.
