TEAM Enterprises Wins Gold Ex Award For Best Cause Sponsorship Tie-In
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., May 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- On May 7th, TEAM Enterprises won Best Cause Sponsorship Tie-In for U.S. Cellular "Better High School Sports" in the 2014 Ex Awards, the world's largest recognition program for experiential marketing and the only marketing program judged entirely by client-side marketers. The 2014 Ex Awards brought together more than 600 of the industry's leading brand marketers and agencies to recognize the work that is helping drive the global experiential marketing revolution.
TEAM Enterprises won the Gold Ex Award in the "Best Cause Sponsorship Tie-In" category for their Better High School Sports program with U.S. Cellular, the fifth largest mobile carrier in the United States. U.S. Cellular wanted to create a sense of community with a focus on treating people like neighbors not numbers, so TEAM Enterprises devised the Better High School Sports campaign, providing U.S. Cellular customers with VIP perks such as free entry to games while also encouraging greater attendance to games by donating matching funds to "better" the local High School's sports program.
Additionally, all attendees of the U.S. Cellular sponsored High School events were treated to an experience where they could create customized vehicle fan flags to show support of their favorite schools and athletes.
