CLEVELAND, Jan. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading suppliers of equipment for the pharmaceutical industry will be demonstrating their equipment and providing training at Techceuticals' next session of The Manufacturing Process.
The Manufacturing Process training seminar covers the basic unit operations for each area of production operation in solid-dose manufacturing. Manufactured products include pharmaceutical, vitamin, nutraceutical, and other related products. Unit operations covered in this training include formulation, weighing, granulating, milling, blending, compression, tooling, coating and encapsulation.
The Manufacturing Process program is hands-on and features many equipment demonstrations. In addition to this comprehensive program, the January session will feature many new pieces of equipment demonstrated by representatives from original equipment manufacturers.
These demonstrations include an:
- TFC-220 Roller Compactor by Freund-Vector Corp.
- XL 100 Tablet Press with interchangeable B & D turrets by Korsch America.
The course will also feature new blending technology developed by GlobePharma. The "SIFT-N-BLEND™" technology from GlobePharma is a brilliant invention that helps to mitigate re-agglomeration of cohesive powders that tend to roll and snowball during blending.
- O'Hara Technologies has supplied a "LabCoat" with a complete film coating system built into a very small, but elegant machine.
- Nilfisk has provided a new and very powerful vacuum because clean-up is an essential part of any solid dose operation!
- Natoli Engineering has provided a tablet punch polishing station, press set-up kit and tablet press lubricants.
- Fluid bed and high shear granulation equipment provided by Glatt Air Techniques.
FEDERAL EQUIPMENT/Add One
There are many other pieces of demonstration equipment from various manufacturers provided by Federal Equipment Company within the training facility, as well as hundreds of items of equipment on display. Everything from lab and development sizes through full-scale production and packaging for any pharmaceutical, vitamin, or nutraceutical facility will be available.
The 2 1/2 day seminar is scheduled for January 27 - 29 in the Techceuticals training and laboratory facility in Cleveland, Ohio.
