BEIJING, Sept. 7 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- China TechFaith Wireless Communication Technology Limited (Nasdaq: CNTF) ("TechFaith" or the "Company") today announced that it will showcase three new mobile phone models at the popular GITEX Technology Week Exposition in Dubai from October 17 - 21, 2010. TechFaith will also present its full range of models on GSM, Windows Mobile, WCDMA and CDMA products alongside the new phone models. The Company's booth, booth number S2-G22, will be located in the Sheikh Saeed Hall at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

For the WCDMA category, TechFaith will introduce Jungle, a HSDPA phone with rugged, outdoors features. The phone's water-resistant functionality allows it to remain 1 meter underwater for up to 30 minutes, and it is shock- resistant for drops of up to 3 meters. In addition, it is equipped with outdoors functions including an e-compass, altimeter, AGPS and a torch.

For the GSM category, TechFaith will feature the R8, a sports-concept phone with unique functions such as thermometer, ultra violet ray measurement gauge, barometer, e-compass, altimeter and torch. In addition, the R8 supports motion games through PCs and laptops.

For the Windows Mobile category, TechFaith will feature the U2000, a Windows Mobile 6.5 smartbook with a 5.0 inch-wide LED. It is able to support professional GPS, WiFi, G-sensor, stereo and a 3.2 mega pixel integrated camera. In addition, it is has a large storage capacity of up to 10,000 SMS and 10,000 contacts.
