New 5000 Series integrated receiver decoders (IRDs) team with 8000 Series HD encoders to provide a new price-performance benchmark for H.264/AVC video compression

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Telairity, the world leader in HD and SD H.264/AVC encoding technology, is showcasing its latest end-to-end encoding/decoding solutions at Content & Communications World 2010, October 13-14, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.  Telairity will be exhibiting in Booth #904.

Telairity's latest H.264/AVC encoding solutions feature new 5000 Series professional integrated receiver decoders, joining its three established lines of 7000 Series SD encoders, 8000 Series HD encoders, and 9000 Series high-compression SD/mobile encoders. The new 5000 Series of IRDs responds to the market's need for economical, full-featured professional IRDs. Two models with the industry's lowest MSRP--between $1600  and $2500--the entry-level BE-IRD-5000 and the more advanced BE-IRD-5501 and 5502, will be shown at the booth.

For HD World attendees, Telairity will showcase its innovative auto-switching dual-mode BE8500, which dynamically reads and adjusts to any type of input signal, operating as an 8000 Series HD encoder with HD input, and as a high-compression 9000 Series SD/mobile encoder with SD input.

Paired with Telairity's new BE-IRD-5000, which provides HD/SD decoding for H.264/AVC and MPEG-2 code, the BE8500/BE-IRD-5000 duo offers industry-leading performance designed for today's tighter budgets.

3D World attendees can view the first remote network for 3D post, jointly developed by Telairity and ASSIMILATE. The 3D product enables the immediate exchange of 3D files for real-time or off-line reviews without regard to distance, across any type of satellite or broadband network, creating unprecedented time and budget savings.
