Terry Howell was named as a HillVets 100 influencer in the "Businesses Focused on Veterans" category. He is a 20-year veteran of the United States Coast Guard and the Senior Director for Strategic Alliances and Editorial Operations for Military.com. "Terry has been an integral member of the Military.com leadership team and he is a tireless advocate for our veterans and transitioning service members. We're so proud of the work he's done and we know he will continue to be an important voice on Capitol Hill on behalf of our members," said Greg Smith, President of Military.com and former Navy admiral.
Howell also worked with the Department of Defense to create content for their online transition assistance program known as TurboTAP and led the team of subject matter experts that developed the skills matching tools for the Department of Veterans Affairs' VA for Vets website. The Military Advantage is published by the US Naval Institute Press and available on Amazon.
"I'm inspired by the work being done to benefit our veteran and military community and I'm honored to have been included in this prestigious group," said Howell.
