Texan Bank Announces Expansion of Leadership Team
HOUSTON, July 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Texan Bank, a local, community bank with locations throughout the Houston area, announces recent additions to its leadership team.
Texan Bank's leadership team has recently expanded with the addition of a new position—Executive Vice President – Chief Lending Officer. Texan Bank hired Robert Raney to fill this role. "I am proud and excited to join the excellent team of bankers at Texan Bank. I firmly believe that local community banks are uniquely suited to best serve the needs of clients by offering a more personalized banking relationship. Texan Bank is committed to exceptional customer service, responsible growth focused on safety and soundness, and building a better bank for our clients, employees, and shareholders. It wasn't hard for me to get behind the Texan Bank mission because I agree with and understand the importance of doing the right thing, the right way," stated Raney. Raney is a graduate of Tulane University and has over 17 years of commercial lending experience, most recently with The Bank of River Oaks where he was one of the original seven founding bankers.
The recent leadership growth also includes the election of Kelly Lovell in the role of advisory director. Lovell is the executive vice president of United Valve, board member and vice president of the Friendswood ISD Education Foundation, and commissioner of the Board of Pilot Commissioners for Galveston County Ports. "As a longstanding member of the bank through United Value's commercial account, my relationship with Texan Bank over the years has been nothing less than outstanding. I look forward to contributing to the tremendous momentum they have been experiencing and also helping to drive the bank forward into future success," stated Lovell.
