Texas Online Preparatory School Opens to New Students

LEWISVILLE, Texas, March 24, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Texas Online Preparatory School (TOPS), a tuition-free, online public school serving students in grades 3-12, is welcoming families to enroll for the 2016-2017 school year. As a college-prep magnet school authorized by Huntsville Independent School District, TOPS offers an academically rigorous program geared towards college-bound, self-motivated students seeking challenging courses, collaborative instruction and high academic expectations.

TOPS classes are delivered using the award-winning online curriculum developed by K12 Inc. The school offers six core subjects -- language arts/English, math, science, history, world languages, art and music -- and over a variety of elective and Advanced Placement® courses for high school students. Courses are delivered online with the support of a state-certified teacher and students receive a diploma at graduation. High achieving students seeking an academically challenging curriculum that prepares them for college are encouraged to apply.
