Mark your calendars and come join the Board of Directors of the Texas Rice Council as they celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the organization. The celebration will take place on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the Texas Safari Ranch located at 11627 FM 1464, Richmond, Texas 77407. Registration opens at 3:15 p.m. while the program will start at 4:00 p.m.
While the annual meeting will provide valuable information for farmers with presentations regarding Agriculture & the New Congress from Cornerstone Government Affairs and a Rice Market Review from Dennis DeLaughter, this year's meeting includes plenty of entertainment for those in attendance. Following the presentations there will be a cocktail reception followed by a dinner with a special celebrity entertainer. Dr. Gene Howard, a John Wayne impersonator who has appeared on the Sean Hannity Show, Good Morning America, Texas Country Reporter, Swans Place Television Show and many more will be the featured evening entertainment.
