With the approval by the State Board of Education, materials will be available and implemented in classrooms at the beginning of the 2017-18 school year.
As part of the Proclamation 2017 – Instructional Materials Review and Adoption, school districts in Texas can now choose to integrate any of the approved 87 iCEV courses into their curriculum. Proclamation 2017 focuses on adopting instructional materials for all CTE subject areas to coincide with the implementation of the new Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for CTE courses.
