LONDON, February 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
TFM&A and the IDM announce an exclusive partnership to unveil the very latest and best in marketing technology and digital marketing education.
Technology for Marketing & Advertising (TFM&A) and the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing (IDM) have announced a three year exclusive partnership between the UK's leading marketing technology event and the UK's leading Digital Marketing Training body.
The partnership will include the introduction of the IDM Digital Academy at TFM&A this February as well as a year-round focus on the creation and sharing of digital and live content tailored to the needs of marketing professionals across the UK.
Learning at TFM&A 2015
Following an extensive six month research exercise with more than 1000 marketers, TFM&A identified the areas of most importance to the modern marketer and has developed the 2015 event to focus on four core themes: keeping up with technology, data driven marketing, optimising tools and tactics and talent, progression and culture.
The 2015 education programme http://www.tfma.co.uk/Content/Education-Programme-1/2/ is 100% curated by the TFM&A editorial team and tailored for every level of expertise and specialism. It will also incorporate brand new learning formats such as the launch of the IDM Digital Academy.
Expert training from the IDM
The IDM Digital Academy http://www.tfma.co.uk/Content/IDM-Digital-Academy-1/2_274/ offers attendees a programme of hands-on training delivered by expert marketers including Shane Redding, Steve Kemish and Mike O'Brien. These 45 minute training sessions will be CPD accredited and cover key topic areas such as marketing automation, content marketing and the future of digital analytics and insights. Trainers will also run roundtable tutorials allowing the chance for attendees to put forward follow-up questions and receive bespoke advice.
The partnership between TFM&A and the IDM also includes the showcasing of Planet Jockey's highly innovative game-based learning experience http://tfmainsights.com/tfma-showcases-planet-jockey-leadership-training-game/ that aims to help future leaders build the skills they need to succeed in today's business environments. Planet Jockey will present the game experience as part of the TFM&A Marketing Leadership Programme as well as offering demos throughout the event on the IDM's own exhibition stand.
Mike Cornwell, CEO of the IDM says: "A long term partnership between the IDM and UBM's world-leading marketing/technology events is aimed at giving all marketers the opportunity to reach their full potential via industry leading digital marketing qualifications and training whilst cementing UBM's commitment to professional development.
