TGate Announces Mobile Payment Best Practice Solution
Processor-Neutral Solution for Mobile Device Developers Meets Visa Best Practice for Mobile Payments Standards
CHICAGO, May 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- TGate Payments today announced their suite of tools to enable mobile devices such as iPhones™, iPads™, Android™ tablets and phones to comply with Visa's recently released set of Best Practices for Mobile Payment Acceptance.
TGate's SecureLINK(SM) Point-to-Point-Encryption (P2PE) Decryption service is a secure technology that leverages open standard and industry proven Triple DES Encryption and Dynamic Unique Key Per Transaction (DUKPT) key management to provide a complete solution for mobile device developers and their customers using encrypted card readers. SecureLINK is an open platform that works with a growing list of manufacturers' devices.
TGate's SecureLINK Card-Based Tokenization service is a secure technology where card based tokens are generated for each card number as a secondary PAN in place of the primary PAN. In this approach, the same token is generated every time for that card number in a one-way, encrypted TGate proprietary algorithm that preserves the length, bin range, and last four digits of the primary PAN.
TGate's SecureLINK Card-Based Tokenization Vaulting service is a secure technology where the card based token along with an authentication key enables mobile device developers to retain and use the card-based token to process a transaction for recurring payments, refunds, or "card on file" applications. TGate's Card-Based Tokenization Vaulting enables mobile developers to safely remove card sensitive data from their applications and still retain consumer data for recurring activity.
"These tools and our payment platform give mobile device developers what they need to meet the new Visa's Best Practices for Mobile and gain access to every major payment processor through one easy integration," says Tracy Metzger, TGate's president. "These tools are available today without waiting and will most likely become the new PCI standard for Mobile Payments."
TGate is a cloud-based Platform as a Service (PaaS) company dedicated to providing software developers tools to enable payments in their applications. Whether it's a mobile device, PC- or web-based POS system, TGate's suite of products can provide you with secure, reliable transactions that reduce the scope of PCI compliance and meets the new standards established by Visa's Best Practices for Mobile Payments. Our approach minimizes integration and maintenance and maximizes security, flexibility and your profitability.
