Chef Janine Falvo Puts Her Spin on the Holiday Feast
ATLANTA, Nov. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- It's beginning to look a lot like Thanksgiving, and Executive Chef Janine Falvo of Briza, an Atlanta Midtown restaurant, will serve up a holiday feast of traditional favorites with her signature culinary style.
Made with Atlanta local food, Chef Falvo's three-course Thanksgiving dinner begins with a choice of butternut squash soup with pumpkin seeds, onion custard and crispy sage or butter lettuce salad with apples, walnuts, celery and yogurt dressing. The main course includes organic turkey served with buttermilk whipped potatoes, cornbread-brioche stuffing, roasted brussels sprouts, giblet gravy and spiced cranberry-orange sauce. Additional sides will also be available including Chef Falvo's signature midnight moon mac and cheese. The meal finishes with a choice of creations from Pastry Chef Valerie Tyes including pecan pie with dulce de leche ice cream, pumpkin pie and apple tartin.
