Costs reached 27 trillion yuan with an average annual growth of 15.6%, 2.1 times faster than that of the previous five-year period. The added value of the logistics industry amounted to 10 trillion yuan, representing an average annual growth of 16.7%, 2.2 times faster than that of the previous five-year period. During the 12th Five-Year Plan period, the average annual total output value of the logistics industry in China is expected to grow by 14% on a comparable basis, with costs to GDP having a ratio of around 17% and its added value having an average annual growth rate of 13%.
