The 6th Asian Tour of China Interdye (Interdye Asia 2016) to Take Place In Turkey
- The exhibition will help industry players in China and Turkey complement each other's advantages
SHANGHAI, Oct. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- With the successful conclusion of the 16th China International Dye Industry, Pigments and Textile Chemicals Exhibition (China Interdye 2016), Interdye Asia 2016 will take place at CNR EXPO in Istanbul, Turkey from the 10th to the 12th of November, 2016.
The Asian tour, organized by the China Dyestuff Industry Association, the China Dyeing and Printing Association and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Shanghai Sub-Council and co-organized by Shanghai International Exhibition Service Co., Ltd., in partnership with Turkey's Artkim, aims to help the Chinese dyestuffs industry transform the way it develops and execute on its globalization strategy, while continuing to implement China's One Belt, One Road initiative (the initiative that focuses on connectivity and cooperation among countries primarily between China and the rest of Eurasia) and boost trade between China and Turkey.
Running concurrently with the 10th Chem Show Eurasia, the two events will serve as a platform for meaningful exchanges between China's dyestuffs industry and Turkey's textile printing and leather processing industries, which is expected to play a key role in boosting the cooperation and development of the upstream and downstream industries in the two countries.
China has become a key player in the global dyestuffs market by leading the world in production, export and consumption volume of dyestuffs. As one of Turkey's major industries, the textile printing and leather processing industries have evolved substantially in recent years and is now recognized as the foundation for textile and clothing production and leather processing trade for EU countries. Despite the sluggish global economy, dyestuffs trade between China and Turkey continues to grow.
Among the over 130 countries and territories to which China exports dyestuffs directly, its exports to Turkey have consistently ranked among the top eight destinations. Over the recent years, dyestuffs exports from China to Turkey have been steadily growing by over 1,000 tons annually. In the first half of 2016, China exported over 9,000 tons of dyestuffs to Turkey, placing the country seventh in the list of export destinations for the chemicals and a rise of 20 percent from the year-ago period. The rapid growth of the textile printing and leather processing industries in Turkey will continue to translate into increasing demand for dyestuffs.
