The All New 2015 Nissan Murano is Coming Soon to Arlington Nissan
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill., July 17, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The Nissan Murano has been a very successful design, but Nissan engineers are always about making a good thing better. The new design is striking with aerodynamic features that are also aesthetically pleasing. The new Murano is expected to reduce fuel use by 20 percent thanks to these design changes and grille air shutters. The 2015 Nissan Murano will arrive soon at Arlington Nissan.
Floating Roof
To the eye, the 2015 Nissan Murano appears pillar-less without the usual supports that join the body to the roof. Of course, they are there, just cleverly designed. Unique to the Murano, this design feature is more than good looking; it is a way to open up the 'greenhouse' and make it feel open and airy. This helps with weight distribution and aerodynamics, too.
New Front End
The new front end still features the boomerang lights which are the Murano's signature. Yet these boomerangs now flank a V-Motion grille with air shutters. This design feature seems to flow into, rather than contrast with, the muscular contours of the hood. Completing the look, daytime lights form a dramatic arch over the headlights. The lights, grille and hood are all aerodynamically designed to let the wind flow up and over.
Sweeping Moonroof
Adding to the feeling of airiness, the 2015 Murano will offer a sweeping moonroof. It covers both rows with equal light and outdoor views.
Cabin Excellence
The new cabin offers Murano's full-sized front seats that can power-adjust, heat and cool. The interior lighting lets off a subtle glow to ease the darkness. Premium materials feel and look good while adding to the long-term value of this smart SUV. For comfort, the climate system is fully automated, letting you set the temp and forget it. Behind the available heated steering wheel is the available 7-inch, fully-programmable high resolution screen. This shows your gauges as well as other important information. You can see tire pressure, find out fuel statistics, and get safety alerts. It can integrate with turn-by-turn navigation, weather and traffic information.
Media Hub
The infotainment command center is the perfectly-placed dash tablet that integrates all of the heating/cooling, audio and information functions of the car. The screen is customizable, letting you decided which icons you need on the main screen. For ease of operation, the system is simple, and the screen is in easy reach.
Safety Shield
The new Nissan Murano in Arlington Heights offers an entire safety shield to protect you and your family. Forward Collision Warning aggressively monitors the front for danger and warns you to slow. With Forward Emergency Braking, the Murano may even slow itself, speeding human response time. Every second counts when it comes to injury reduction. The available Intelligent Cruise Control uses these features to monitor the car's speed. The blind spot warning offers side mirror icon warnings as well as audible alerts to be sure you wait to change lanes.
The 2015 Murano will soon join the 2014 Muranos at Arlington Nissan.
