The American Society of Thermalism and Climatology Proclaims 2013 the International Year of Hydrology and Launches its First "Thermal America" Fair to be Held in Coamo, Puerto Rico in October 2013
NEW YORK, Oct. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Society of Thermalism and Climatology (ASTC) proclaims 2013 as the "International Year of Thermalism" and invites all hot springs centers, tour operators, professionals of the sector, travel agencies, thermal bath centers, spas and others interested in the sector to take part. The principal objective of the fair is to convert the United States into an international power for thermalism, thalassotherapy and medical climatology, as well as to see thermal treatments covered by social security and increase health tourism to thermal springs centers.
ASTC President Dr. Garis L. Silega announced the first Thermal Fair of the Americas "Thermal America" which will be held in October 2013, and every following year. The first annual fair will take place the City of Coamo, Puerto Rico, a hidden niche of the Isle of Enchantment and a perfect demonstration to the world of the thermal wealth of the Americas.
Dozens of researchers in the value of medicinal mineral waters as an essential part of pharmaceuticals, foods, cosmetic, energy, and medical tourism, among others, will converge with exhibitors, tour operators, travel agencies, airlines, hotels, investors, entrepeneurs, doctors and scientists in this encounter of the American thermal industry.
