PHILADELPHIA, March 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Asia Tigers Fund, Inc. (NYSE: GRR) (the "Fund"), a closed-end equity fund, announced today that Ms. Nancy Yao Maasbach has been elected to the Board of Directors as a Class I Director and has been appointed as a member of the Audit Committee and a member of the Nominating Committee, effective March 24, 2016.
Nancy Yao Maasbach is the President of the Museum of Chinese in America. Prior to this position she was the executive director of the Yale-China Association, one of the oldest non-profit organizations dedicated to building U.S.-China relations at a grassroots level. Nancy has over twenty years of experience working in and covering Asia, including positions at Goldman Sachs & Co., Center for Finance and Research Analysis, and the Council on Foreign Relations. She received her MBA from the Yale School of Management and her AB in diplomacy and world affairs from Occidental College. Nancy is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
