"Users of IQ Polls live in different countries, so we have been striving to enable them to be able to reach our services more quickly and reliably from any place of the world. The Windows Azure platform will help us to ensure this possibility. It is also important that our BizSpark program membership become a sign of quality for most of our present and future clients, and that it will encourage faster and wider use of our innovative system worldwide", said Arturas Jonkus, one of the IQ Polls project partners.
"After joining the BizSpark program, startup companies can get assistance from international advisors, investors and partners for three years, notwithstanding their location. It is a great opportunity to get international experience, receive advice from specialists and to use the experience of professionals directly when developing business and searching for new development opportunities", said Kristijonas Kaikaris, CEO at Microsoft Lietuva.
The BizSpark program created in 2008 by Microsoft encourages the establishment of new companies and their further development. Startup companies participating in the program use the newest technologies, receive technical and business advice and get additional visibility in the market. Since the development of the program, 50 thousand companies have already participated in it.
IQ Polls won first place in the recently held contest organized by Lithuanian Committee of Information Society Development, and was acknowledged as the best e-commerce project of this year. IQ Polls will represent Lithuania in the World Summit Awards (WSA) in this category.
