One Night Only, Saturday, December 4th, 2010
SANTA MONICA, Calif., Nov. 30, 2010 /PRNewswire/ --
WHAT: |
You know this isn't going to be just another party when Jane Austen's on the guest list. A horse and carriage greet you. Guests mingle in their Regency costumes all to benefit Arts Education at The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage. In the days of Jane Austen, society would gather in their Regency finery to feast and frolic, converse and be clever, and enjoy the company of their friends and social acquaintances. That is what we intend to do at our first Winter Feast & Frolic. There will be frivolities of Jane Austen society circa 1800. The evening will begin with cocktails and savories, and then move into the theater for the most riotous show of improvisational Jane Austen with the Impro Theatre followed by dinner, duels, jig dancing and waltzing into the night. |
