The Conference Board Wins US Economic Forecasting Accuracy Award
NEW YORK, April 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, one of the world's premiere macroeconomic survey firms, Consensus Economics, announced The Conference Board as the winner of its 2016 Forecast Accuracy Award for the United States. The award resulted from The Conference Board's success in predicting the performance of both GDP growth and consumer price inflation.
Consensus Economics examined the two measures in response to its monthly surveys over a 24-month forecasting cycle, conducted between January 2015 and December 2016.
