The Council on Alcohol and Drugs announces the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors
ATLANTA, Nov. 21, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Joining the Board of Directors of the Council on Alcohol and Drugs are Steven Converse and Dr. Karen Kuehn Howell.

Karen Kuehn Howell, Ph.D., the Council's newest Board member, is an Assistant Professor for Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Center for Maternal Substance Abuse and Child Development.
Steven Converse, CFPS is a Senior Loss Control Consultant with Frankenmuth Insurance Company based in Frankenmuth, Michigan. In his new capacity, Steven will promote and assist various companies to become a Certified Drug-Free Workplace. He has more than 25 years' experience in the safety industry and works with various clients to assess loss control and safety programs for both General and Construction industries.
The Council on Alcohol and Drugs is a 48 year-old nonprofit, 501(c)3 substance abuse prevention and education agency that develops programs and materials based on the most current research on drug use and its impact on community. The Council is an official affiliate of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce.
