The Dallas Mavericks Set a New Standard For The Mobile Fan Experience With Tixsee
Dallas Mavericks launch all-new mobile apps for 2016-17 season.
DALLAS, Oct. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Mavs have launched an all-new app for iPhone and Android for the 2016-2017 season. Keeping fans top of mind, the new app features innovative enhancements to the ticketing and digital content experience.
"We wanted to know what is important to Mavs fans when they are buying tickets or roaming around American Airlines Center—so throughout last year, we asked them what they wanted. This app is entirely for them," said Mark Cuban, Mavs owner and self-proclaimed techy, who was a part of the app design process from the beginning.
The new app, created by Dallas-based sports technology company, Tixsee, includes an immersive integration of single-game tickets, mobile tickets, 360º video, interactive maps, as well as the most up-to-date scores, stats, news, highlights and more. Fans can purchase a ticket via the app, store the ticket in their mobile wallet and then use the ticket in the arena. The 360º seat views make selecting a seat in the app quick, easy, and entertaining.
The app has a Game Day feature that includes an integration with Google Maps that provides fans with real-time traffic updates and predictive travel times. Also, fans can locate nearby food & beverage, parking, fan shops, entrances and more.
"We've set out to create innovative technologies that enable teams to engage with their fans in a way that is meaningful, authentic, and memorable," said Brett Dowling, CEO & Co-founder of Tixsee. "The entire Mavs organization has a genuine passion for the fans, and the experience we've gained working with them to further enhance the fan's experience brings us closers to our goal."
The Android & iOS apps are available for download on the Google Play Store and iTunes App Store.
