INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Dana Loesch, one of the original forces behind the national Tea Party movement, is bringing her popular conservative talk show to WIBC 93.1 FM, Indy's radio news leader. "The Dana Show" launches Monday, January 10 from 3 – 4 p.m.
Considered a rising star in the conservative movement, Loesch prefers the term "conservatarian: the conservative alternative to old dudes."
"The Dana Show" humorously examines politics and pop-culture in a renegade, hipster-crushing fashion. Her takes on motherhood have been chronicled in blogs (www.mamalogues.com) and newspapers. In May 2009 she was named one of the top 50 most powerful "Moms Online" by Nielsen and made their top 16 power list.
"We are excited to add Dana to the daily line-up on 93 WIBC," said Alan Furst, Program Director of WIBC 93.1. "Garrison and Rush fans already know of her work and we know she'll quickly build a group of new fans here in Indy."
Loesch's show originates from Emmis' KFTK-FM in St. Louis. Indy will be the first market for the syndicated "The Dana Show."
For sixty years WIBC has been "The News and Talk of Indiana." When Hoosiers need information, they turn to 93 WIBC featuring the largest, most experienced radio news team in the state. WIBC has earned a rich heritage and reputation for broadcast excellence and community service.
