"Sometimes the most ground-breaking designs are the ones that get passed on because they're too bold, too out there," says Andrew Gibbs, founder of TheDieline.com. "And in this industry, it happens every single day: we're told to approach the project from a new direction, professors grade our work and move on to the next assignment, or clients decide not to move forward with a concept we loved."
The Dieline's CWWWR Awards has gathered a prestigious panel of judges who specialize in branding, design, and packaging. Judges hail from top agencies including Pearlfisher, Anagrama, and Jones Knowles Ritchie, consumer brands such as Coca-Cola and The Honest Company, and other organizations such as Art Center College of Design.
The Dieline's CWWWR Awards have partnered with LiveSurface to enable entrants to visualize their existing concepts, or create new packaging concepts with LiveSurface Context, for free. Context allows designers to see their design ideas in the real world, with a click.
The jury will award a range of prizes to 38 winners, including features in HOW Design Magazine and The Dieline, custom certificates designed by Ken Lo of BLOW, and 1-year subscriptions to Adobe Creative Cloud and LiveSurface Context. Entries will be judged based on branding, design, creativity, and structure.
The Dieline's CWWWR Awards are presented by: The Dieline, Neenah Packaging, Adobe, LiveSurface, and HOW Design Live. Winners will be announced in November on TheDieline.com. For more information, or to enter a concept, visit CWWWR.co
