The Economist Group And Murmur Partner To Release StoryDeck, A Mobile-First, Fast Storytelling Publishing Platform For GE.

NEW YORK, Jan. 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Economist Group's Content Solutions Unit announces a partnership with Murmur, a digital storytelling studio in New York City, to pioneer a "Tinder for content" feature called StoryDeck, a customisable, mobile-first publishing platform.  StoryDeck asks provocative questions, and captures audience responses via intuitive swipes. It's a quick, fun experience and is geared towards rapid consumption on the mobile web.

Released on January 6th, this "Tell us what you think" feature: "Will robots help or hinder our lives?" runs as part of a global series created exclusively for GE Look ahead. The technology is targeted at mobile users of The Economist around the world and takes their pulse on where they stand on the role of robots in our lives. StoryDeck allows consumers to swipe right or left to agree or disagree with controversial statements and perspectives.
