STRONGSVILLE, Ohio, Jan. 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Fidato Group announced an educational course later this month, titled Retirement Planning Today®, which will be led by founder and CEO, Tony D'Amico and held at Lorain County Community College, Midpoint Campus Center in Brunswick. "Planning for your retirement has taken on a much greater importance as people live longer and retire earlier. Many view retirement as a new and fulfilling chapter to their life, but you need to be prepared," D'Amico said. "This course shows you how to assess your financial situation and develop a personalized plan to achieve your retirement goals."
During this two-session course, students will learn how to define retirement goals and identify practical information that they can apply immediately in their personal lives. This educational course covers the complete planning process, including life planning for retirement, determining the amount of money you need to retire, income planning, risk management, asset protection, estate planning and strategies to manage investment risks. Students will also hear how to invest in and take money out of their company's retirement plan, use tax laws to their advantage, and determine the savings they will need to retire today or in the future. You'll learn about changes made in late 2015 in social security laws to repeal the 'file-and-suspend' strategy, and how that applies to you.
"Whether you are planning for retirement or already retired, this course will help to ensure you are on the right track," D'Amico said. "In straightforward language, this class explains time-tested strategies that help you to make informed financial decisions. Whether your objective is to build a nest egg, protect your assets or preserve your lifestyle throughout retirement, this course helps you plan your future with confidence," added D'Amico. The first of four two-session courses starts on January 27.
"We're pleased that Mr. D'Amico will be presenting this course at our LCCC Midpoint Campus Center in Brunswick. This topic provides a great opportunity for members of our community to learn about the important aspects of retirement planning, and attend a course through the Center for LifeLong Learning," according to Jennifer Krupa, Program Coordinator Center for LifeLong Learning at Lorain County Community College. Class sizes are limited. Students may bring a spouse or a guest at no additional charge. The tuition includes one 224-page workbook. To register for the course, please call (440) 328-8382.
