The INA (National Institute Of Audiovisual) Edits for the First Time Exclusive Artists' Lives and Partners With Diggers Factory to Launch its "33 Tours Avec L'ina" Collection
PARIS, May 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- From now on, jazz and French chanson lovers can pre-order exclusive LPs from Ray Charles, Serge Gainsbourg and Dalida on Diggers Factory. These lives come from the extraordinary archives collection of INA (National Institute of Audiovisual), available for the first time to the public. The start-up Diggers Factory is an innovative community platform, which makes it possible to produce and re-edit vinyl records on demand.
From Serge Gainsbourg's first shows on the French radio, Ray Charles and his big bang at the Palais des Sports on October 1961 to Dalida's triumph at the Olympia on the 8th of December 1961, discover the French debuts of the greatest musical artists of the 20th century on vinyl.
Diggers Factory is a new platform to press vinyl records on demand. It allows artists, labels and rights holders to produce or reissue vinyl records without risks and upfront payments, meanwhile controlling all the production line. The principle is simple: getting a minimum of pre-orders for each project in order to start pressing vinyl records.
While the back wax is getting more and more attention, this partnership is a good occasion for INA to innovate in a way that makes the best out of new uses. The institute associates itself with an innovative platform which encourages and supports, since 2016, the development of a demanding musical creation.
