The Latin News Agency Launches A New Journalist Contest
Gualdo Hidalgo, Executive Editor of Latin News Agency, Announces the Launching of a Journalist Contest open to Journalistic Works Published in the last 12 Months.
WASHINGTON, N.J., April 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Journalist Contest.
Just one entry may be submitted by each participant.
Letters of explanation are acceptable in all categories. Other supporting materials are not allowed.

- Feature Writing -Feature writing breaks out of the hard-news format and allows the creative types among us to tell stories in a more creative and compelling way.

- Arts and Entertainment Writing
- TV/Video News / Features: Journalists must submit a 10 to 25 minute feature or news story.
Entry Procedures.
Participants should send their works by email as a Word document with pictures and images inserted in the document at: [email protected]
Contact information, picture and author's information should be included.
Videos and other multimedia must be submitted as URLs only. They can be posted on website or a separate website such as youtube.com.
Entry Fee & Deadline
The entry fee is $30 per entry.
Entry fees will be paid to Google Checkout at the following web store page: http://www.latinhf.com/apps/webstore/
After paying to Google Checkout send an email confirming your payment and the name of your publication.
Entries must be submitted electronically no later than midnight on August 31, 2012.
Judging & Prizes.
Judges' decisions are final unless a winning entry is found to violate contest rules, in which case the entry will be disqualified and the prize awarded to the next-place participant.
Winner in each category will be awarded $100 US. Each winner will get a certificate.
Each entry will be posted immediately upon receipt in Latin News Agency website: http://latinnewsagency.us
Books will be published: One featuring the winners, and the other ones featuring outstanding works. Authors will received a 50% royalty shared among them. Also, each author featured in the books will received 5 books free of charge.
Winners will be announced by October 31, 2012.
