The Marketing Arm Names Jordan Schlachter Executive Vice President For Sports
DALLAS, July 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Marketing Arm, a next-generation promotion agency named the 2012 "Agency of the Year" by Chief Marketer and Promo magazine, today announced that Jordan Schlachter has been named Executive Vice President for the agency's sports marketing and sponsorship consulting practice, a new position at the company.
In his new role, Schlachter will partner with Dan Belmont, President of The Marketing Arm, to co-manage the agency's sports practice while leading new business efforts for the group.

Schlachter joins The Marketing Arm from Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, where he was Vice President for Integrated Media and Marketing, tasked with packaging Clear Channel assets into effective and attractive marketing and media solutions for top advertisers.
Prior to that, Schlachter served as Managing Director for New Business Development and Athlete Marketing for the United States Olympic Committee (USOC). Previously, he served as Vice President, Marketing, for the New York Knicks, and as Vice President, Marketing, Content Sales and New Media for MTV Networks, working specifically on the businesses of Comedy Central, Spike TV, BET, Nick Toons, Country Music Television and TV Land.
He began his career at the National Basketball Association (NBA), spending a decade working in a number of roles for the league, including programming, team services, operations and business development.
