The Millennium Challenge Corporation Hosts Events on Gender, Governance and Economic Growth during the 2012 U.N. General Assembly
NEW YORK, Sept. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) is hosting two events in New York City that will bring together five African heads of state on the margins of the U.N. General Assembly meeting this year. These presidents will speak on two key issues: The first event will address gender equality and women's empowerment, and the second event will feature a discussion on governance and sustainable economic growth.
MCC is an independent U.S. Government foreign aid agency that is helping lead the fight against global poverty through the promotion of sustainable economic growth.
