The NBMBAA -Austin Chapter hosts the Leadership Empowerment Institute Conference July 27 at the AT&T Conference Center

AUSTIN, Texas, July 23, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) –Austin Chapter will host its annual Leadership Empowerment Institute (LEI) Conference on Friday, July 27, from 8 AM – 5 PM at the AT&T Executive Education & Conference Center at The University of Texas, Austin. Author and esteemed Corporate Business Executive, Keith Wyche, will offer the keynote address promoting "The Power of Presence and Sharing the Vision for Leadership."
The LEI conference is sponsored in part by Dell, Farm Credit Bank of Texas, Seton Family of Hospitals, St. Edward's University, University of Phoenix, The PhD Project, the Division of Diversity & Community Engagement at The University of Texas – Austin, Deliberate Careers, BIG Austin, KAZI 88.7 FM and the Media Production Center.
The purpose of the LEI conference is to promote growth and development of Central Texas' business professionals and business owners. The full-day conference features seminars on global marketing, self-branding and compensation negotiation. Simultaneously, mini-seminars will highlight professional development training and education opportunities. These seminars will feature the following business organizations: Toastmasters of Austin, the PhD Project, PMI Austin, Deliberate Careers and BIG Austin. In addition, a Career and Post-Grad Expo will be available, featuring local employers and educational institutions.
